Kiefer William Frederick Dempsey George Rufus Sutherland is an English-Canadian actor, producer, director and singer. He is known for playing the lead role of Jack Bauer in the Fox 24 series, and he's won an Emmy, a Golden Globe, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Satellites. Sutherland had his first lead role in the Canadian television series The Bay Boy, which earned him a nomination for the Genie Awards. Since that time he has had a successful film career with films such as Stand by Me, The Lost Boys, Young Guns, Flatliners, A few Good Men, Three Musketeers, A Time to Kill, Dark City, Phone Booth, Melancholia, Pompeii and Flatliners.
