Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is a Canadian actress. She is the lead of the series Never Have I Ever, as the stand-in for Mindy Kaling.
Maitreyi is the daughter of Ram Selvarajah and Kiruthiha Kulendiren. Her family are refugees from the civil war in Sri Lanka. She therefore identifies as Tamil Canadian, and not Sri Lankan.
