Robin Lopez is an American professional basketball player. He plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is 7′.

He is the son of Deborah and Heriberto Lopez. His twin brother, Brook Lopez, is also a professional basketball player. Another brother, Alex, has played professional basketball outside the U.S.

Robin’s maternal grandfather was James Robert Ledford (the son of John Seaton Ledford and Melvia Gray Boyd). James was born in Colorado. John was the son of James Ledford and Jane. Melvia was the daughter of John H. Boyd and Susie Ann McKenzie.

Robin’s maternal grandmother was Aleen Stoffel (the daughter of Barney S. Stoffele/Stoffel and Lenora Sommer/Dommer). Aleen was born in North Dakota. Barney was born in Iowa, to German parents. Lenora was the daughter of Anton Sommer, who was German, and of Tressie, who was born in Missouri, to German parents.
