Taylor Swift’s Boyfriend Joe Alwyn Was ‘On His Best Behavior’ While Flying Solo In NYC (EXCLUSIVE)

It’s a love story! On Dec. 4, Taylor Swift’s longtime boyfriend and rumored fiancé, Joe Alwyn, attended the Mary Queen of Scots premiere and after-party in NYC. Unfortunately, the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer wasn’t in attendance. However, a source has revealed exclusively to Life & Style that Joe was a perfect gentleman the whole evening. Phew.

We’re told that the handsome 27-year-old arrived at the party alone, save for his publicist. He then sat a VIP table alongside his co-stars Saoirse Ronan, who plays Mary, Queen of Scots in the film, and Jack Lowden. “He mainly talked to this married man who was seated next to him and Jack,” the source said. “He nursed a reddish colored alcoholic drink — only one.” Hmmm, a sober boyfriend who only interacts with married people? Sounds like every girlfriend’s dream, if you ask us.

“I didn’t see him on his phone texting all night. He was very engaged in conversation with his cast and seemed very serious,” the source explained. “Joe was stroking his beard and hair. He did not move from his table the whole night and was very well-behaved.” The source also noted that the actor had zero interest in any of the women at the party. “Joe did not flirt with any girls, and was very professional and clearly there just for his work. He didn’t even check anyone out while they walked by.” 

Wow. We stan a loyal man. To be fair, though, with Taylor being notorious for turning her breakups into hit records, Joe is very wise to air on the side of caution. One wrong move and he’d be the inspiration for another “Teardrops On My Guitar,” and let’s be real — nobody wants that.
