Growing up in Berks County and playing at Wilson West Lawn for celebrated coach John Gurski, his career would become one of the inspirations for Zack. However, Doug explained that he forced Zack never forced his son to play his sport.

He let Zack choose any sport that he likes. The star football player chose basketball during his early years in high school. But as fate would have it he eventually, went with football.

There hasn’t been much information about Zack’s mother, Lisa Ertz. It has been known that she is very proud of what her son has achieved in his career.

Julie herself is a player herself. She plays for the Women’s National Soccer Team of the USA.
