Why Quora is not reliable?

The problem with any “answer” site where there is wide disparity in expertise is the Dunning Kruger effect. People who know little about a topic tend to overestimate their knowledge, and answer questions they’re not qualified to answer. This is encouraged by Quora basically asking these people for answers.
