Charles Esten Puskar III, also known professionally as Chip Esten and Charles Esten, is an American actor, musician and comedian. Esten is best known for her role as country music singer Deacon Claybourne in the ABC / CMT television series Nashville from 2012 to 2018, then began her own music career. Previously, he appeared on the impromptu show Whose Line Is It Anyway? often from 1999 to 2005.
