Spencer Treat Clark is an American actor. He is known particularly for co-starring in the films Unbreakable and Glass.

His sister is playwright and actress Eliza Clark. Eliza is married to Zack Whedon, the brother of filmmaker and television creator Joss Whedon.

Spencer’s paternal grandfather was Charles Elias Clark (the son of Charles Edward Clark and Dorothy Estelle Gregory). Spencer’s grandfather Charles was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and was a Yale Law School Professor Emeritus and master of Silliman College. Spencer’s great-grandfather Charles Edward Clark was born in Woodbridge, Connecticut, and was Dean of Yale Law School, from 1929 to 1939, Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, from March 9, 1939 to December 13, 1963, and Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, from 1954 to 1959. He was the son of Samuel Orman Clark and Pauline Caroline Marquand/Marquart, who was of German descent. Spencer’s great-grandmother Dorothy was the daughter of Louis Le Grande Gregory and Grace B. Spencer.

Spencer’s paternal grandmother is named Ann Atkins.

Spencer’s maternal grandfather was Richard Thomas Pratt (the son of Richard William Pratt and Mary Agnes Cowan). Spencer’s grandfather Richard was born in Illinois. Spencer’s great-grandfather Richard was the son of Richard Pratt, of London, England, and of Anne Madigan, from Ireland.
